Join Roxey Ballet for a morning of music and dance specifically designed to introduce young children to ballet through storytelling. For 1 1/2 hours, your child will get to watch professional dancers take class, seeing the girls practice on their toes and the boys leaping across the floor. In addition, children will take part in age appropriate ballet activity. For each event, the program will focus on a different children's ballet with the children hearing the story read by a dancer, learning how dancers tell stories with pantomime and dance steps and then have the opportunity to see and touch the dancers' costumes and toe shoes. Each child will get a small souvenir to take home.
